In collaboration with renowned French printmaster Pascal Giraudon of Atelier Giraudon, Patricia Laspino has transformed three of her original oil paintings into the next generation of her artistic communication through the medium of etching.
Giraudon arrived in the United States from Paris after receiving his training at Atelier La Couriere Frelaut as apprentice to Jacques Frelaut and working with historically important artists like Henry Moore, Marc Chagall, and Joan Miro. His expertise is in all techniques of intaglio, photoetching, photogravure, and heliogravure and these etchings employ a combination of these techniques.
All the etching editions are limited to 40 signed and numbered with 10 Artist Proofs. A limited number of editions are also available for acquisition unframed and/or hand colored with watercolor by the artist.
